As your customers start planning for the growing season, they have a lot of decisions to make. Ensuring they get the most out of every input purchase is critical for their operation and bottom line — especially with expensive input prices. One of the ways your customers can save on crop protection purchases is through prepay programs. With the TruChoice® offer, farmers can save on over 100 proven Corteva Agriscience crop protection products without waiting for a rebate.

Navigating prepay programs can be tricky. Here are four steps to help explain how the TruChoice offer can benefit your customers’ operation:

  1. Calculate savings.
Start by showing your customers how much they could save with the savings calculator for the TruChoice offer. Simply enter location, acre amount and crop type to get an estimated savings total to share with your customer. If that entices them to learn more about the TruChoice offer, explaining how to set up a prepay account is the next step to start reaping the benefits of the program.
  2. Fund a prepay account with the TruChoice offer.
Saving is easy with the TruChoice offer, and it starts by funding a prepay account with a minimum of $5,000 by Feb. 24, 2023, with a participating retailer of Corteva Agriscience crop protection products. Farmers also can set up an account by themselves directly online.

Here’s what a farmer from Minnesota has to say about the prepay program:
“With TruChoice, you get the savings right upfront. You know you’re getting it right away instead of waiting for it at the end of the season. That’s the beauty of it,” Chris Peterson says. “With the prepay option, you save money and can purchase chem when it’s cheaper compared with in-season prices. It pays to prepay.”
  3. Earn savings.
Regardless of which seed brand your customers purchase, they can save 10% when funding a prepay account in cash or 5% when financed through the TruChoice offer with a loan advance. If they qualify as a gold or platinum customer of Pioneer® seeds, they can save an additional 5%, for a total of 15% in upfront savings.
  4. Spend on more than 100 proven Corteva Agriscience crop protection products.
Your customers can use these savings toward the entire suite of input needs from seed to herbicides to nitrogen stabilizers and everything in between. This will allow them to purchase the appropriate product mix fit for their fields with no bundling requirements.

They’ll also have access to use savings toward the latest innovative products from Corteva Agriscience, including Resicore® XL herbicide, Utrisha™ N nutrient efficiency optimizer and Kyber® herbicide. Additionally, if your customers are planting Enlist E3® soybeans, they can save and purchase their Enlist® herbicides with the TruChoice offer.
