A new, enhanced formulation of Instinct® nitrogen stabilizer is now available. Instinct NXTGEN™ provides the same nitrogen protection as the previous formulation, but with added benefits for you and your customers.
Specific improvements include lower viscosity for better overall handling during early spring applications, and a lower use rate of 24 ounces per acre versus 37 ounces per acre for better blending when mixing with urea.
“The lower use rate of Instinct NXTGEN allows for simplified mixing with urea by preventing clumping, stickiness and clogged machinery,” said Danny Leckie, the U.S. product manager for nitrogen stabilizers at Corteva Agriscience.
Instinct NXTGEN also is formulated for better mixing capabilities with tank-mix partners like ATS, Boron, Resicore® herbicide and other adjuvants. This is good news for your customers who use UAN.
Like the previous formulation, Instinct NXTGEN contains Optinyte® technology, which ensures up to eight weeks of unrivaled protection of urea, UAN and liquid manure during fall, spring and sidedress applications. The new formulation continues to keep nitrogen in the root zone for when corn needs it most to maximize yield potential and ROI for your farmers.
“The benefits of Optinyte technology are backed up by more than 1,000 field trials and university studies for over 45 years,” said Jeff Moon, market development specialist for Corteva Agriscience.
