It’s a proven product that works to keep nitrogen in the root zone when corn needs it most.

Benefits

N-Serve® nitrogen stabilizer takes nitrogen protection and yield potential to the Nth degree. It’s a proven product that works to keep nitrogen in the root zone when corn needs it most.

Superior Protection

N-Serve® nitrogen stabilizer works below ground, where up to 70% of nitrogen loss can occur from leaching and denitrification. It protects anhydrous ammonia, slowing the bacteria that converts it from the ammonium form to nitrate. Because nitrate is negatively charged, it's more easily lost in the soil. In addition, corn prefers nitrogen in the ammonium form. By slowing that conversion, N-Serve® keeps more nitrogen in the root zone during key growth stages when corn needs it most.

When used with anhydrous ammonia, N-Serve® nitrogen stabilizer is proven to*:

  • Extend nitrogen availability up to 8 weeks.
  • Reduce leaching by 16%.
  • Lessen greenhouse gas emissions by 51%.
  • Increase soil nitrogen retention by 28%.

Maximized Yield

N-Serve® nitrogen stabilizer helps maximize corn yield potential by protecting anhydrous ammonia from loss below ground where the majority of nitrogen losses occur. The product is shown to boost corn yield by 7% when used with fall applications and by 5.2% when used with spring applications*. This improves your customers’ ROI.

A Proven Product

N-Serve® nitrogen stabilizer, powered by Optinyte® technology, is a product that retailers have relied on to protect nitrogen for more than 45 years. It is proven to work by more than 1,000 field trials and university research.

N-Serve® and Instinct NXTGEN® nitrogen stabilizers with Opintyte® technology are also registered by the Environmental Protection Agency as nitrification inhibitors. All products with Optinyte® technology are registered by the EPA. There is only one other product with that registration. N-Serve® maximizes corn yield and helps protect the environment and natural resources.
