WHAT’S NEW IN  ENLIST E3®  SOYBEANS

Enlist soybeans logo

While much of the information on Enlist E3® soybeans is a refresher, Corteva Agriscience puts an emphasis on a few areas. For growth of Enlist E3 soybeans, 65% of soybean acres were Enlist E3 in 2024. A ramp up of Enlist E3 soybeans in 2025 is expected, as Corteva continues to expand genetic lines in a broad range of maturities to fit more acres throughout the U.S. and Canada.

For technology, a refresher on Enlist® weed control system application best management practices was a highlight.  Full, over the top rates for both Enlist One® and Enlist Duo®  are still the recommendations. Spray when weeds are small  (two-to-three inches, with a maximum height of six inches)  and spray when weeds are actively growing.

Controlling small, actively growing weeds will always result in more consistent weed control than trying to control larger weed species.

More information, training, recommendations and more can be found at Enlist.com. The Enlist® Ahead management resource helps you get the best results from the Enlist system. There, readers can get the facts for unrivaled weed control, as well as the latest trainings, webinars and product label information.

WHAT’S NEW IN  ENLIST® CORN PRODUCTS

Enlist Corn logo

Enlist® corn is now the most advanced herbicide-tolerant technology on the market. Enlist corn not only gives farmers more weed control flexibility for their corn acres but creates an opportunity to create value on those acres.

When Enlist corn began, it combined two things that had never been done in corn: add 2,4-D choline trait tolerance and FOP tolerance. Growers could spray 2,4-D choline in corn when they needed it, tackling late post broadleaf pressure. Additionally with FOP tolerance, growers now had a tool against resistant grasses and unwanted volunteer corn. Finally, with glufosinate tolerance, Enlist corn tapped a rarely-used tolerance which can have better effectiveness overall for fighting weeds.

Why bring Enlist® herbicide tolerance to corn? Grower peace of mind is a big factor. About 20% of the corn market receives dicamba annually. With Enlist corn, growers don’t have to worry about crop injuries like twisting or brittleness. Growers also don’t have to worry about dicamba moving out of corn and into neighboring fields, injuring or killing susceptible crops.

2,4-D choline with Colex-D® technology in Enlist® herbicides offers near-zero volatility and reduced physical drift potential with qualified nozzles. 2,4-D choline is also 236 times less volatile than dicamba.

Using Enlist herbicides in Enlist corn as an additive approach — not a replacement — will help not only increase weed control, but aid in preservation of our current corn chemistries.

The Enlist® weed control system today

In short, the Enlist® weed control system is growing. With over 65% market penetration in soybeans in 2024, as well as the emergence of PowerCore® Enlist® products, growers can cover their whole farm with Enlist® products.

Enlist One® and Enlist Duo® herbicides continue to deliver exceptional on-target and neighbor-friendly weed control. Growers are annually spraying Enlist® herbicides on about 80% of their Enlist E3® soybeans.

Likewise, growers are continuing to make the switch to the Enlist weed control system. They are experiencing superior yield, application flexibility and the overall peace of mind the Enlist weed control system offers. Growers are gaining confidence in the robust trait tolerance and broad-spectrum weed control. More acres are being added for the 2025 growing season, and that trend looks to continue into the next growing season.
